Thomas is a Project Manager at AECOM and an inaugural New Colombo Plan Alumni Ambassador. As a certified project manager, Thomas manages the design development and delivery of infrastructure and community development projects. He is also Co-Founder of the ASEAN-Australia Strategic Youth Partnership.
Kathleen May Faigal
Kathleen is practised in project management and engineering specialising in the design and delivery of water and sanitation projects. She is an experienced community trainer and advocate of WASH programs. Kathleen is also the Assistant Director for Public Relations and Communications of the Philippine Young Water Professionals.
Dan Joshua Valenton
Dan Joshua is experienced in the planning and project management of government projects. He completed a Bachelor of Arts major in International Studies (Cum Laude) at the University of the East - Manila, and is currently undertaking a Master in International Studies. Dan Joshua is a certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt Professional.
Program Development Officer
Suzzane is the team's in-house legal practitioner, experienced in policy, governance, and matters relating to human rights and social justice. She is committed to the cause and has a keen eye for detail. Suzie graduated from a combined Arts and Law degree at Western Sydney University.
Business Development Officer
Afiq has a keen interest in Australia-ASEAN relations having co-founded the UNSW ASEAN Society and leading two world-class student-led conferences since 2019. With professional experience working within the capital raising team at an Edutech startup and advisory deals team at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), he is passionate to work on community empowerment projects. Afiq recently graduated UNSW with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance with Distinction.
Arvin's acumen for operations and crunching numbers is developed from his experience at Nabtrade and Macquarie Group. His enthusiasm for using his skills to yield and measure social impact makes him a valued team member. Arvin completed a Bachelor of Business with a major in accounting and finance.
John Paul Uminga
Community Engagement Consultant
John is an experienced development professional in project management, community engagement and communications roles in Philippines and Australia. He has a liberal arts degree from Far Eastern University and a master of commerce in strategy, innovation management and entrepreneurship from the University of Sydney as an Australia Awards scholar.
Marketing Communications Project Officer
Peter is experienced in the planning and execution of marketing and project management strategies in the clean energy sector. Having completed his undergraduate degree in Media (PR & Advertising) at UNSW, and a Masters of International Relations at the Australian National University, Peter works to combine his skills and experiences with his passion for foreign affairs.
Digital Communications Officer
Noah utilizes his Advertising background to connect with audiences and campaign for causes that he believes in. He is currently undertaking a Master of International Relations with The University of Melbourne, hoping to marry his passion for foreign policy with his love for writing, and use his education to create meaningful change.
Joshua Dale Santos
Digital Content Officer
Joshua is a content creator who recently qualified for his psychology and marketing major under his Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Commerce at Macquarie University. He is focused on youth empowerment across Southeast Asia, having completed his Communications Internship with the ASEAN Foundation, in addition to being a recognised Youth Changemaker of the eMpowering Youths Across ASEAN programme.
He is also an alumnus of the Hacker Exchange Asia-Pacific Virtual Innovation Program, a New Colombo Plan Scholar to Vietnam, and an inaugural Macquarie University - Asia Society Scholar.
Grace Devon Gevero
Having experiences in construction management, planning and design, Grace has proven her knowledge and skills as a civil engineer and master plumber for both public and private institutions. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Central Mindanao University, and currently works as a Cost Controller at Makati Development Corporation in Cebu. Grace is especially passionate for welfare development and social betterment.
Melissa's capabilities are developed her management and coordination of various indigenous and sustainable development missions in the Philippines during her tenure at The Firm of Creencia Carillo and Velasco. Melissa completed a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Development Studies at the Ateneo De Manila University.
